Able Up is a registered NDIS provider delivering specialist psychological services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. We support individuals with complex needs through structured, evidence-based, and outcome-focused care.
Our approach is systemic and relational, recognising that meaningful change occurs within the broader context of a person’s life. We focus on emotional regulation, adaptive functioning, and improving functional outcomes across daily life, relationships, and independence.
We provide Child & Adolescent Intervention, Family Therapy, Therapeutic Support (Adults), Assessments & Reports, working closely with families, Support Coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure interventions are clear, coordinated, and aligned with NDIS plans and functional goals.
We are known for our clinical rigour, clear communication, and high-quality reporting, supporting accurate assessment of functional capacity and effective planning and funding decisions.

Our Leadership
Francesco Cataldo
Francesco Cataldo, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist, Board‑Approved Supervisor, and Co‑Director of Able Up. He has extensive experience working with complex NDIS presentations, with particular expertise in Autism, trauma, emotional dysregulation, high-support needsand family‑based interventions.
His clinical approach integrates systemic, relational, and evidence-based models, with a strong emphasis on formulation-driven practice, functional outcomes, and long-term sustainability of intervention. Francesco has significant expertise in psychological assessment, NDIS reporting, and the evaluation of functional capacity to support planning and funding decisions.
In addition to his clinical work, Francesco is actively involved in supervision and professional development, with a specific interest in telehealth, digital psychotherapy, and innovation in psychological care within complex service systems.
Ilaria Cattaneo
Ilaria Cattaneo is Co-Director of Able Up and a health professional with experience in complex and highly regulated clinical environments, as well as business and service operations. She brings a strong person-centred and systems-oriented approach, with a focus on service coordination, quality assurance, and participant experience.
Her role is central in ensuring that services are delivered in a structured, accessible, and responsive way, aligned with participant needs and NDIS plans. Ilaria works closely with Francesco to ensure that clinical excellence is supported by clear processes, effective communication, and robust operational systems.
Together, Francesco and Ilaria lead Able Up with a shared vision: to deliver high-quality, ethical, and outcome-focused psychological services for individuals with disabilities and complex support needs.
